World Book Day is a day to celebrate the joy of reading and to promote a culture of reading around the world. This year, World Book Day has been themed ‘Make it Your World Book Day’, encouraging everyone to read in their own way, whatever that may be.
Whether you’re an avid reader or just getting started, there are plenty of ways to make this World Book Day special. Visit your local book store and explore what they have on offer or support an online bookstore by buying a few books from them. You can even read with your children and create lifelong memories together. Additionally, you can attend book launches or join in on virtual events that are being organised for the day. Finally, if you want to help spread literacy across the world, consider donating books or volunteering at a library near you.
